This project involved an existing circuit board used for testing flow and temperature rates during the testing of jet engines. The original design didn't allow for new hardware to be added so the bottom board was created to "watch" the communications between the cpu and analog devices. The data was then transmitted across the CAN bus to a master PC. This allowed the add on board to be plugged in without any firmware changes to be made to the original board.
